Guest Lecture by Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Committee of the Republic of Indonesia

Dr Nurul Ghufron, S.H., M.H. as as Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) of the Republic of Indonesia as a guest speaker for the Law Study Study Program in Building I8-FISH on Monday, February 6 2023. This activity is in the framework of welcoming lectures Even Semester 2022/2023 Law Study Program. As many as 300 students took part guest lecture with the theme "Dynamics of Policies related to Corrupt Criminal Actions With the National Criminal Code”.

Corruption is a serious crime or very extraordinary crime. At the end of 2022, corruption was recorded in Indonesia is 34 points on a scale of 0-100 in 2022. This figure has decreased by 4 points from the previous year. DIn this scale, the corruption perception index (GPA) is ranked Indonesia globally.

In the presentation of the material provided by Dr. Nurul Ghufron, S.H., M.H, explained how the KPK handles criminal acts corruption (Tipikor): starting from the process of investigation, investigation to prosecution. The discussion of material also revolves around the Law catch perpetrators of corruption.
